Products can be easy to browse and still hard to scan. A shopper often needs a quick reason to pause before opening a product page: it is new, it is popular, it is on sale, or it is nearly gone for good.
Product badges give merchants that signal without forcing campaign language into product names or descriptions.
Four useful starting points, plus your own label
The new Product badges module includes New, Best seller, Sale, and Limited edition. Merchants can also add one short custom label, such as “Staff pick”, and apply one badge to a product so the message stays legible.
Put badges where the decision happens
Merchants can choose to show badges on product cards only, product pages only, or both. Product cards make a collection easier to scan; product-page badges keep the same context present while a shopper considers variants and price.
The labels use the storefront’s existing theme tokens and sit away from the wishlist action, keeping product imagery and interaction controls clear.
Turn it on when the catalog needs it
Enable Product badges in Settings → Modules, choose the storefront placement, then open any product to select the labels that fit. Read the full Product badges feature guide for the workflow.
