Introducing the Stoify media library
- By Stoify
A focused asset desk for finding, previewing, reusing, and safely cleaning up every file behind a storefront.

Stoify storefronts collect assets quickly: a logo in site settings, a hero image in the builder, a product download, a collection banner, an event cover, and eventually a handful of font files. The new media library gives those files a shared home.
One quiet workspace for the whole site
Open Media library from the dashboard to search files, filter by type, page through the collection, or switch between tile and list views. The selected-file viewer keeps the useful details close: a large preview where possible, the public URL, file metadata, copy and download actions, and links to the content currently using the asset.
Images and video get visual thumbnails. PDFs get a dependable document preview card, audio files can play in place, and fonts render a sample so a family can be recognized before it is assigned to a theme role.
Select existing files anywhere they belong
The shared picker carries the library into builder image and video fields, site logos, favicons, social preview images, and the existing image upload card used across catalog and event workflows. It keeps each consumer's allowed media types, supports search and pagination, and can upload a new file when the library does not have the right one yet.
That means replacing a hero image no longer has to create another copy of a file that already exists. Pick the asset, keep its Blob URL and pathname, and continue editing.
Custom fonts without a parallel system
Font uploads record their family, weight, and style alongside the asset. The storefront builder typography picker can then choose a custom family, clear the Google-font choice, and use the same @font-face declarations in the live theme shell, page overrides, and builder preview.
Cleanup that explains itself
Delete is intentionally conservative. Before removing a Blob, Stoify checks settings, builder and theme JSON, page overrides, navigation and footer configuration, catalog media, digital files, event and collection assets, and font references. If the file is still in use, the viewer tells you where and keeps the delete action unavailable.
The library is available now from the dashboard. Explore the media library feature for the full workflow, including plan-aware storage tracking.
